Great progress on a lovely design

Wow this is stunning. It's so beautiful and I'm very tempted to have a go myself.

I've been away from the for a while and this was the first WIP I wanted to look up on my return. You've done so much since I last saw it. It's looking amazing!

Another update on this. I'm back in the swing of this one again. She's looking a bit creepy without her eyes though!

A little update on this one. I'm back spending more time on it for a while just to ensure I've made my half page finish.

I've just looked and I think I've been a bit harsh on myself. There's still plenty of progress to show so here you are...

Gah, I feel like any stitching I've had time for this week has ended up :anotherfrog: :anotherfrog: :anotherfrog: . Not because it's difficult but because I've stitched when I'm tired or stressed. Big mistake! :roll:

Might leave it another week before updating as there's not really enough progress ...

This is so awesome! I love the vibrancy of the colours and your stitching is soooo neat - even the back looks fab!

This is such a lovely thing to do for your StepDad. I'm sure he'll be blown away. I'm going to enjoy watching your progress.

It's really interesting seeing this one stitch up as I thought it might be quite simple when I saw it on HAED. However, now I see there's actually a huge amount of depth to it! I guess I should have known there would be, as all the HAEDs are beautifully charted.

Black is a tricky color for getting good coverage, but yours look good in the closeup on photobucket also. I have found that Anchor Black thread (forgot the number) is slightly better than the DMC which I think is the thinnest of all the threads. I now use it instead of 310, but have to be careful ...

Thanks everyone. As I've done more, I'm happier with the coverage. I think it was just the darker colour that I wasn't sure about but it's looking great on the lighter colours.

Little update on this one. I'm absolutely loving stitching this chart. It's the first time I've tried tenting and, whilst the coverage isn't as good as I'm used to, I'm more than happy ...

This one's on my wish list so I'm looking forward to seeing how it progresses. Great start and I love those bright colours!

I thought the same too, all those different mattresses look great fun to stitch.
