Angel, that is lovely  . Just take a step back from the wedding preparations every now and then and enjoy your stitching. I'm sure you'll have it finished in plenty of time :D

I've completed two pages now except the backtitch and the next few days should see me reach the same stage with the third page ^_^

Today has been spent doing even more backstitch, mostly on the background details, so they really pop a lot more now. I'm waiting on one more thread, a navy blue Madera thread for the mothers dress to match the silver one I've ued in the brides dress. I'm leaving the floral backstitch to last because I'm worried about time constraints and that's the bit that matters the least. Once I've done all the background backstitch on the left I'm going to work at filling in the remainder of the cross stitch on the right ^_^

Chris says he finally knows what the colour in the background on the left is. He must have seen the stitching thirty odd times and not once has it twigged that there' a bed there :P He's really impressed with how much backstitch adds, which makes the three threads using the same coloured line sort of worth it :P

it's EXACTLY 1 month till my wedding ^_^
I finally bought the sparkly blue thread to go in the backtitch of the mothers dress so she has a subtle sparkle like the brides. I've finished the cross stitch across three entire pages! And almost all the backstitch across those same pages. Got some more of the brides dress to do and I'm leaving the flowers and vines until lat as they can be left indeterminate without any serious detriment to the piece.

This is just absolutely beautiful and it always makes me think of my daughter when she got married. I was unable to be there for her wedding since she lives in the states and I had too many health issues going on. You are going to be a beautiful bride and it's so nice to be able to share this special time with you. Of course we are all expecting lovely pictures when that special day comes!

So very excited. I have all the paper for my seating plan, just need to wait for a punch to get here so I can start work on it ^_^ Almost finished this piece, have finally figured out how to frame the MILs piece...going to ue some fabric, so looking to get a hold of some brown from somewhere. Contemplating trying the Samaritans shop as they have a 50p clothing bin. Find a lovely brown item and recycle it maybe?

I paid off £200 to the cake today. Need to take in the cake topped and a picture of one we liked for her to use as inspiration.
We went to the florist because we were due to pay the final instalment today and we don't have it. The MIL is giving it to us at the end of the week so we went in to ask if that was ok, wonderful woman, first thing she did was get a drink for our dog and then she was all...no rush, it's only £60, you've paid over a grand I'm happy to wait a few days, which was pretty good. Our landlord has allowed us to only pay half net months rent and pay the other half after the wedding as a present to us. Of course the guests kinda want punching...They keep changing their minds!

But....I'm so nervously excited! I'm actually on the verge of starting to pack for it :P
