ShoreLine Village by Dennis Lewan Finished!!!!

Post by Vani »

I have started yet another HAED! Couldn't help myself. Its a big one. Lot of sky to stitch. I will be doing it on 25 ct white Lugana. 1 over 1. I'm a little scared with the size of this chart, and the count of the fabric. But I decided to give it my best try. If all goes well, it will be joining my rotation list, and will be worked on at least once a month!

Here is what the completed piece will hopefully look like:

And here is my effort so far!

I think I will be working down the side of the chart rather than across to the right, so I can have a break from endless sky!

What a stunning design! This is going to be really great to watch unfold. I like the idea of going down rather than over... the sky in my design gets old after awhile lol..it will be great to change it up every so often ;)

Thanks all for your lovely comments! I hope to see this one progress nicely!!!

Faith, I figured that the best way to keep myself sane is to go down instead of across. I would definitely go batty if I had to finish all that sky first!!! If I'm not mistaken there is a whole page or nearly 90% of a page of all white!!!! I think working in a rotation will help, or at least I hope so!
