I went to post an update on this and realized I never started a SAL for it last year.
I started this project on Nov 2011 and nearly had it complete on Jan 2012. The first photo was where I had left it. I was about halfway done with the backstitching.
I decided to pull it out yesterday afternoon and I finished it up!
The best part of all were the tassels on the scarf! Aren't they cute? I just had to rub my fingers through them and admire them for awhile after I stitched them
Only something a stitcher would understand

Nice finish. Adorable design and the tassles really add a great element to the piece. Well done.
