this is so lovely, I can hardly stop looking at it. So real and at the same time so much a piece of art!

The chart is a nightmare(colour symbol, but all the colours are wrong- must be the way to keep it from being copied). Plus most of the colours are from off white to dark grey. Some grey shades are so light, that I can hardly see them on the white Aida. Besides, there are full crosses in 2 strands, full crosses in one strand, half crosses in one strand. I call sucg stitching hard physical work (with my eyeglasses +5.5 all those greys do not do my eyes good, I am sure). The person for whom it is being stitched, is worth it all right, but even for him I would not stitch it again.
For you to understand about stitching again- Sandra Littlejohns "Victorian Christmas" is a huge picture, also not very simple, but I did it twice, just one after another. And the second time I enjoyed it not less than the first one. There are Easter towels which I stitched (the same design) more than 15 times. I am said to be good at stitching more than once. So if I say this has no chance, I mean it.
I agree I have found some charts that are horrible to work with. I really hate the ones where they colour them and the colour has no relationship with the actual colour of the thread. The mixture of single strand cross and two strand for full stitch is like my Butterflies but at least my chart is not background coloured just some coloured symbols whose colours have not relationship to their actual colours. Did I mention how much I hate wrongly coloured charts
I love your new Christmas Tiger Lyudmila . When we do Tai Chi our instructor tells us to do Tai Chi like a Tiger. On one occasion, on her request, I took my Tiger cross stitch along to our class to inspire the class. It did have a positive impact. And many of them not only expressed their liking of the piece but that they also did cross stitch or should really get back to their own. I would like to make some sort of "Christmas Tiger" cross stitch piece for my Tai Chi Instructor

I completely agree. My Princess Leia and most of the other Star Wars characters that will go on the afghan are like that. The other thing I hate is when a chart is more than one page and they don't put some of the last columns (usually its 2 or 3) on the left has side of the adjoining page on the right and the same thing for adjoining rows under a chart page. Fortunately the program I use to download the charts to, has a way of having two windows next to each other so I can figure it out without too many manipulations. I hope that makes sense.
But I still the guitar player is wonderful. And I probably wouldn't want to stitch it twice either.
