I understand why you are stitching this. Subject matter aside, it's detail and depth are amazing, the colours and shading bring it into 3D. Also the speed with which this is developing is amazing.Podolyanka wrote: Mon Sep 20, 2021 12:22 pm I would not stitch(let alone want to stitch) any dead birds and sculps of poor deer, but I look at this as a job I have to do as the recepient had chosen it and wants it above anything else.

Re: Podolyanka's Cross Stitch 2021
Some mathematics. I began this project on the 25th August, it is finished (needing one more hour's work to be completed) 20th Sept., OK, 21st September. 6 days of Aug + 21days of Sept= 27 days! Less than a month. That's what I call a decent design.

That’s what I call amazing speed with perfect stitching. If this was an Olympic competition, you’d be the Gold Medal winner!Podolyanka wrote: Mon Sep 20, 2021 7:10 pm Some mathematics. Glad to be of help Lyudmyla. To me doing the b/s as you go is the only way with a design like that.

The colours really are remarkable. The leather satchel looks quite leathery. (Probably all that evil b/s.)

Sally, I was thinking about you all day yesterday- thanks to you I was enjoying the finish without dreading a thought about all the BS. The birds are all BS. I am so glad they were done in their time and forgotten about.

Re: Podolyanka's Cross Stitch 2021
A quick finish needed for the 16th November. Just off the needle. Cannot be washed today because of the weather., but I cant help boasting either. So, please, forgive the "wrinkles". The Aida is snow white, by the way.

Re: Podolyanka's Cross Stitch 2021
In reality, if it were not for work, I could stitch it within a week. As it is, it took me 5 weeks in between the Hunting in 1950s by Eva Rosenstand.
