Here is mine I had felt it was going a bit slow but seeing others it seems ok progress

Also my one colour is pale grey with just a hint of purple in it and I never thought it was not right, had mine from sew and so anyway the colours don't bother me but I don't like the silk I don't think for the extra expense that you get much of a wow and in fact in future I would use d m c but until you try something you just don't know.

When I post from my iPad, I use the same steps as I do when I'm on my computer. I use a different photo sharing service than others on the forum, however. I hope you get it figured out so we can see your progress.

Okay, here's my progress:



I'm working each design feature (for lack of a better term) in all four quadrants - it helps me with my counting since there's no room for a miscount in a geometric design. I did decide to put the center beads on tonight. I first put them on with a half cross stitch and wasn't sure if I liked them slanted, so I redid them, this time with a full cross to have them lay vertical. I think I like them better that way - I really need to make my mind up before I do any more beads. I would usually save the beading for last, but since this piece is living on the Qsnaps until it's done, and the entire stitching area is exposed, I figure I can do some here and there as the mood strikes me. I love beads, but I don't know that I want to have to do ALL of them (there are a lot!) at the very end.

That is lovely Debby! And you have made really great progress on this one! The beads look good. I haven't yet decided about them as I don't love beading. Thinking I will stitch with metalics, but will worry about it later! Though by the time I get there I might have to change my mind after seeing how pretty yours is looking.

I actually toyed with the idea of using metallics instead of beads until I saw how pretty the beads look on the piece...so beading it is. (Plus, I already bought the beads and didn't want to then go and buy more stuff.)

I've never done so much counting, double counting, and triple counting before! But I love working on mine...even with all the extra counting.
