Wow, great design and a great start! I don't envy you all that black though :)

This is certainly a change of pace. You are really moving along quickly. It is a really nice picture. I don't know how well known this fact is, but there is a St. Louis, Missouri connection to the Titanic. The reporter traveling on the ship that picked up the survivors was from St. Louis, and he broke the news to the USA about the Titanic disaster. The reporter's name was Carlos Hurd. In 2012, the library I work for had a small display about the Titanic and some of the people who came to see it, left notes and flowers by the case. Back to your stitching, I was surprised to see just how much 1 skein of black covered, or perhaps I mean how little.
