What a lovely finish! Thank you for the tip on the cross stitch only version. I added it to my wish list.

I have loved watching this one from the start. It looks amazing! I really want to try and have a go but a bit scared of the speciality stitches. I know there is a cross stitch only version, but I love the look of the different stitches. Are the instructions easy to follow for a beginner? Thanks in advance for any advice :)

Doris, I don't think Amanda will mind my replying to your question about how easy or hard the instructions are. I am also stitching this piece thanks to a shove (actually it was a little push, but calling it a shove makes me feel slightly less guilty about adding another project to my list  ) from Mrs MBK. It is wonderfully fun to stitch and I think the instructions are very clear and easy to follow. I found it most helpful to view the instructions from my iPad so I could enlarge them. and it also helps to look at the close-ups of the stitches that Amanda has posted. If you decide you want to try it with the specialty stitches I'd say go for it. Maybe try them out on a sample piece first. With stitches I'm not sure of I often will use left over fabric and DMC thread instead of the HDF floss. The hardest part for me is the counting because I don't do a lot of over 2 stitching. I would love to see you try this one. And it would look lovely in cross stitch. The colors are wonderful.

It's wonderful!!

I loved this one so much when I saw you both doing it I got it, the one with the speciality stitches as although the cross stitch only version is lovely I wanted the full Monty! When I get to do it is another thing though....
