Baby Hugs by Design Works - now really finished :)

Hi all,

It was important to start this one to avoid having 13 WIPs, which is of course very unlucky and I'm sure can lead to ...

Also this is for my sister's baby, due in March, so I need to get a move on! I've been wanting to stitch her something for ages but was waiting to find the right design, and I found this one and it seemed ideal. It's called Baby Hugs by Design Works. I'm trying to stitch this one without marking the chart. Its it large blocks of colour, and I'm doing the back stitch as I go to make finding my place a bit easier.

Finished! I put in some late nights to get this done well ahead of time, I don't like stitching to deadlines!

I changed the hair colour to a dark brown to match my sister's, and used the supplied shade to do the backstitch for the hair.

I just need to add the name, weight and date in the bottom left corner but that will have to wait until March

I haven't been left with an overly wide margin in the fabric for framing, so I might finish this as a wall hanging, I'll have to keep my eye out for some nice material.
