It's looking a bit worse for wear as I could only get half of it apart and had to re-sew the wording while it was still half attached.
Couldn't get it off to redo the finishing properly or it would have destroyed it.
Apologies in advance to whoever gets mine.

Tbear, that is absolutely brilliant ! I can understand you wanted to stitch it for this ATC, it's so appropriate.

And I know it's terrible when you have to take things apart and redo them because you always see the "wrong" bits, but I know from experience that anyone else is usually terribly surprised to hear that something is wrong -- that ATC looks great, and I'd love to have it and stick it on the fridge .

Aww, Mabel ...

I really enjoyed stitching this one. I saw the lady on scales and got this silly idea of me in reverse of dieting. So I stitched that with the tiniest of changes. I've used metallics in the hair, on the initals, the fluffy part of the slippers and for the chocolates. I added the chocolates as well as they weren't on the original pattern.
I also used metallic black for backstitching. Then I found an appropriate 'saying' and added it.

Oh and thanks so much for the hardanger Mabel.

Rose, I know this would be a bit of a revelation to you all ... but yes, I do like chocolate, just a tiny bit. Not that you would ever have realised this of course ....

Oh and yes, it is a tatty finish. But I think I'll swat you anyway!! *Runs after Rose laughing*
