Pooh baby quilt

Hi!I am soon to be a Grandmother (in May) and am looking for a Pooh baby quilt to cross stitch. I like the afghans but have no idea how to stsitch over 2 threads :oops:

over 2 threads..
normally you'd stitch
. .
. .
bottom left to upper right then lower right to upper left

but you'd stitch like this

. . .
. . .
. . .

the same way only skipping the . in the middle..

wow i better find a website for this..

Go to "About.com" then click on to the appropriate catagory listed on the left You will be able to get a tutorial on how to stitch from there. Congrats on being a new granny to be,.

Absolutely! Many congratulations.

Stitching over two threads is easy once you start, so don't be worried.

Perhaps I should start on these sorts of things now. I stitch so slowly, and get sidetracked by the garden and life in general, that beginning things for prospective grandchildren might be the only way to make sure they get these goodies before I'm too old and incapable. :shock: :lol: :lol: :lol:
