Hi everybody!
I am currently conducting an exhaustive search for a sampler pattern that my sister made for my mother in the 80s. It was my sister's first attempt at counted cross stitch and she labored over this thing for a very long time. Tragically, my sister was killed in a car accident this past summer and I'm really wanting to create this sampler in her honor/memory. Here goes: The sampler has these old "babchi's" with scarves on their heads and walking staffs marching across. There's a house with a thatched roof and I believe ducks or geese. The above march across this sampler and, of course, there's an alphabet and I believe some numbers as well. I think there is also a saying. If anyone remotely gets this, could you please give me a scream? Thanks so much in advance for your efforts. Gail

Hi and welcome to the forum. Sorry for your loss, I think the sampler is a wonderful idea. I will keep my eyes open on my surfing and let you know. There is a thread in the forum "Internet Sites" I think it is called, with lots of stitching sites, you should have a look in some of them. Happy stitching from Canada.
