Well Queenie is finally ALL DONE!!!! I finished about 6.30pm last night.... in some ways took longer than expected (there were points yesterday when I thought I'd have to bring it in to work on Monday... which would have been disappointing as I'd pictured myself working on something new then), although OH kept mentioning how the white area (to be filled in with black) kept getting smaller!
On Saturday I also trimmed off the selve (sp?) edge at the bottom, so had to oversew that too - but didn't want that to be the last thing I did so got it done while there was still a lot of 'real' stitching left!
I've left OH instructions on taking the HAED submission photos of it - thought it would be best if he does them today in the daylight (I never get to see the house in daylight at this time of year!!!

) then will give her a bath and have a go at re-shaping back into a square
Also last night I stitched a little owl design to go in a credit card holder for my uncle's Christmas present, will get a photo of that too
So in total that's one year, two days... works out as an average of, err, 865 stitches a day...

(I think all the black at the end bumped up the average!!)
