I changed the wording -- the whole point is that this is something that goes for all stitchers, so I changed it to "our needles make" instead of "my needle makes" (I posted the new image in the original posting above)

If you'd like to use it I'm happy to share :-), but I'm not sure whether I'm supposed to as they are just my adaptations of someone else's copyrighted design -- Rose, what are the rules on this one?

No I am surethat you would need to ask permission to share any changes as it is a copyright pattern.

Klns I think the idea is you can use whatever ct you like so that you can finish it how you want to. I have just counted the stitches across and then divided it by whatever ct you want to use to find out the finished measurement for what you are doing, and then do the same from top to bottom, does that make sense  if not pm me and I will try to explain myself better :thinks:

Klns I think the 11.8cm X 11.8cm will be 14ct or approx 4 1/2" square as I still work in inches

The chart is 65 x 66 stitches, I think (odd, I'd expected it to be exactly square -- I may have miscounted) which means the following sizes:

14ct/28ct: 4 3/4" square
16ct/32ct: a little over 4"
18/36ct: between 3 1/2 and 3 3/4"
22ct (hardanger): 3"
25ct over one: a little under 2 3/4"
28ct over one: a little under 2 1/2"
