Yep, Ive pen pals too, been writing to some of my friends for years

I had one beginning in MS through HS but we lost touch after we graduated. I actually met him in person too. It was neat getting to know someone through letters.

Thats a shame you lost touch with your pen pal.

That does happen at times. Though Ive been in touch with a few of mine a lot of years now

I have a pen-pal I've been writing to for about 30 odd years now. We met when she and her husband came to my wedding; her eldest daughter, who's the same age as mine, is married now, it's hard to believe so much time has gone by.
I also keep in touch with a few more e-pals, who are also cross stitchers; I "met" them on cross stitch forums.

I'm writing to 5 penpals regularly. It turned out that 2 of them love cross stitching, too. Actually, I searched for penpal to improve my English but finally kept writing in German cause they wanted to improve their foreign language skills. i need someone in the US..hubby not able to go to the post office at any given time..so i have to be able to just put a stamp on it and drop it in the box.
