I've not been on the forum for ages - busy decorating (6 rooms down, 3 to go!), Mum's not been too well and stitching has gone to pot but I did manage a quick Lizzie*Kate wedding sampler for a friend who's getting married this month - last one on my album!

Hope everyone's staying warm, it's cold and pouring with rain here, guess what I'm doing - defrosting the freezer

Sorry about your mum, I hope she is better now. But decorating, although hard work, must be fun, too. At least when it's done. Good luck!

I did my fridge-freezer last Monday - you have my sympathy, especially in the cold and wet!

and I hope your mom is feeling better. Good luck with the decorating! I hate it til it's done! Then I stand about admiring it.

Really hope your Mum is better soon. Good on you for the decorating, it's one job I really don't like, mostly because hubby is big on preparation and everything takes AGGGGEES!

Thank you all - the freezer is done, took ages and I'd got frostbite by the end of it - serves me right for leaving it so long, I had to thaw out in the bath afterwards

When we got a new fridge/freezer i demanded a frost free one, and so far *touch wood* it doesnt need doing
