Chickadees & Lilacs

I just joined the forum but I want to put up the WIP I've been working on. Hopefully keeping this post updated will keep me motivated to move along with it.

Here's what it's supposed to look like..


And here's what I've got so far..


This is about a week's worth of stitching in the afternoon, during downtime at work and fairly heavily on the weekends. I'm really enjoying it so far. I'm loving the way the background colors are coming together.

What a beautiful pattern and your work looks awesome!!!!!! We had a full hedge of Lilacs when I was growing up they always smelled so good!!!!!!!

We have Lilac in bloom in the garden...but I've never seen a Chickadee!
