Squeeeeee So excited!!

About a week ago I compiled a wish list on Amazon with a few bits added on that aren't available from there for my family so that they would have an idea as to what I wanted for Christmas. Well on the extras list I said I was looking for a bank of vintage library index card drawers that I wanted to use for thread storage.....anyway my wonderful Mum-in-law said that if I found a set I liked she would be willing to pay up to £x amount for them as a gift. Ever since then I have been scouring Ebay and reclamation yard websites trying to find a set that I liked that were reasonably priced.....and guess what....I found one and I won it too

I'm still waiting for them to be delivered but I'm just soooo excited....I cant wait to sort my stash out, put it into the drawers and then label the drawers....I will probably write the labels using calligraphy.....oh the joy!!

what a treasure!!! congrats on finding it and I hope it arrives soon!! I only wish I'd been able to get hold of some like this--I used to volunteer in my son's school libraries and they had these still when he was in the lower grades!!

B/H found one in a estate sell last weekend. and he "didn't" think of my "stash" needing a "new home."
