Joan Elliot Flapper lady

Post by Fizzbw »

I've started her to rejuvenate my stitchy bug, and it's working well!! I'm a bit further than this now but here you go.

It's done on 28 count jobelan Baroque by Picture this plus. It's the same fabric as the Victorian lady.

Looking beautiful! I wasn't going to stitch her but the colours might tempt me other wise. Have you stitched any of the other ladies?

Guenever, it's not that hard honestly, the cross stitch flows and you find the metallics and beads challenging but good. They really are not as complex as they look.

LastingAllure, I've done the Victorian lady, she's around somewhere :) not sure yet if I'm going to do the other two, I have the snow princess, dragon and Autumn fairy all kitted up ready to go, oh and the dolphin as well!! So much to do, so little time....(and I don't work.....)

Oh amazing! I was planning on doing this for my Grandma, but she has picked something else for me to do, so I may keep this one for myself

Love the dyed fabric, it add so much to the stitching.

Oh sounds like you're a Joan Elliott fan too! I can relate I have many of hers kitted up or on the go! I also don't work right now, I know it won't last so I stitch every day I have the chance...makes me feel like I've accomplished something.

Can't wait to see your other projects though, they all sound lovely :D

I'm not surprised your stitchy bug came back. It would find it hard to resist such a gorgeous design. The colours are lovely.
