I just love them! have been sorting them out and just drooling generally!

I put "cross stitch" in to search on eBay, and do a lot of my bargain finding after 11pm......

I really wanted the eagle design though, had to pay Â£21 for it. But worth it IMO. I like the idea of hand dyed fabric as well... It's got quite a lot of bending in it as well so should be interesting to stitch.

It's a shame Six Strand Sweets have gone out of business, I've always liked their floss. Some of them are splendid, and the range is huge, I have about 100 different colours there. Of course if anyone needs some if they run out at least you all know where to come!!

fantastic find. All those threads are going to keep you in stash heaven for a long time. And the chart is so lovely. Can't wait to see you get started on that. I mostly stay away from eBay. Way too tempting.

What an amazing bargain!! I reckon you will be looking at any future charts you do and pondering if you can swap any of the colours out for one of those beauties!!

Yes Mabel, they are Six Strand Sweets. I've got about 10 of them in my stash already so now I'm overwhelmed! if you need any particular colour do yell.

What a wonderful haul.

That chart is EXTREMELY hard to find ... I know I looked for many months before I finally found it. Mine is a Dimensions loose leaf chart and the design is Nature's Vision. I found it at Arts and Designs on line. I have no idea if they have any more - they seem to stock a lot of discontinued stuff.

Ebay has recently replaced Joann's and Michael's for me. I found a seller who sells floss in different amounts (10 or 100) and you get to pick the colors you need. Even after shipping it came out to $.38 per skein. Major bargain and so much nicer than going to the craft store. I also bought a ton of plastic bobbins.
