Weaving

Post by agi »

Last time we went to the house we are selling (and where we still have a lot of boxes) I found this. This is a wall carpet I wove about 10 years ago, there were many more, but I gave them away.

It is almost double in length, that dark stripe with the dots is the middle.

Wow, that is amazing Agi. I just couldn't imagine being able to do something like that. How long did it take to complete?

Can't really remember now. But I think a 7-10 days would be enough if you can put in 1-2 hours every day.

The big thing is to set up the loom (don't know the correct term), then it goes like... like... you know  It flies. I love weaving but I haven't done it for years now. I would really love to go on with it but it is possible that when we buy a new flat there won't be enough place for my loom. :( But I hope to make place for it. :x:
