I'd love a tattoo but I've got a serious fear of needles (except cross stitch ones of course!).
My OH has 7, he had his first 25 years ago and they still look amazing.

Re: Tattoos
i have a fear of needles but its different with tattoos as the needles dont go all the way in like they do with an injection. my only down fall was when i had the piece done on the top of my arm i foolishly decided to look down and seeing the tattoo needle going in made my eyes start to roll. didnt have this problem with the one on my fore arm though weird

Re: Tattoos
I'm thinking at least on my back I won't have to watch the needle lol and I've tried the 'scratching' thing to see how much pain I can bear!
The only other thing I can compare it to is the dentist, I've had lots of work done on my teeth in the past couple of years (extractions, root canal & countless fillings), I have weak teeth but hopefully that will have built up my pain/holding still threshold lol & making sure I've eaten beforehand etc.
Thanks for all your views, I will keep you informed!
