One piece of fabric which arrived today.

Which is why I needed a scroll frame (Thank you again Debby) for Little Dreamers Tree which I plan to start today (after getting it onto the frame and gridding the first two pages - which are the first row). Fabric is 14w x 44h so on 28ct Laguna it is about 6 x 36 inches. Definitely for a banner not a frame!

And this is one of the presents my sister sent for my birthday. She does have a distorted sense of humor. But I have to admit, I laughed until I cried when I saw it. Laverne thought I had gone over the deep end.

That owl is beautiful! I'm thinking of ordering one for myself for Christmas. I'm currently waiting on my first Q-snap(an 11 x 11) and a Cross Stitch gauge. I've always used a hoop, so I'm anxious to see the difference.

I finally caved and ordered two floss cabinets from Herrschners. They were delivered yesterday and I filled them today and I am loving them!! I had all my bobbins and extra skeins in four plastic boxes and they all fit in these drawers, with about four to spare. I love how small they are (to give proper perspective, the tv on top of them is about a 20-22") and they really are nicely made. I am very tempted to get a couple more for my hand dyed fibers, Kreinik, etc.

What a lovely gift to yourself!!! I just looked at the website and am so tempted, especially since the price seems good. Maybe if they continue like that, who knows???????

Adding my kits now, bit earlier than first thought as our plans have changed & busy next few days. PhotoBucket Ok at the moment. They've been making amendments, that's why I had problems earlier






I was very lucky to get geisha & the UK wildlife ones as both times only 2 left. Took me ages searching for geisha but worth it.

Snowman not to be done yet. Have a chart, snowman & hedgehog, which I am going to do when I need a break from Sunset. Can make this kit next year to make 2 Christmas scene pictures for us. I only make cute things for us at Christmas although I do like to see other peoples cute makes any time of the year.

British wildlife kit crumpled as postman put it in letterbox instead of ringing the bell, I was not amused but it has flattened out a bit

My mom was thinking about me while on her Alaskan cruise/tour and she popped into a stitching/knitting store and found a puffin x-stitch pattern for me!!

(Wendy Wombat, I was thinking of you when I saw it! Especially since your sig line is Mom's motto, too.)

I love the puffins. When I went on my Alaska cruise, I picked up a few things (cross stitch and quilting) at the Rushin' Tailor in Skagway. Two years ago and last year, my sister went on two Alaska cruises (one each year) and at my recommendation, she checked out the store...and got me a kit each time and got some quilting stuff for herself.

I was at a flea market with my husband this weekend and found a Edmunds Sit-on Needlework frame complete in the box for a $1.00! Made my weekend. You just never know what you'll find!
