They are gorgeous Mabel, such lovely work! I especially love the green one at the end, such nice shades of green

Re: Mabel's designs
I have just set up my Millennium frame for the first time and oh my goodness, I could get the fabric more taut than I have ever managed! We've got a friend staying at the moment and what with going to Holland on Tuesday I'm not sure I'll actually manage to do any stitching on it, so I've slackened it off again, but it feels very promising
In the photo I've got the fabric as tight as I could possibly make it - I wouldn't want it that tight in practice - and apart from the very last millimetres on the edge, it had uniform tension; remarkable. Because it's so tight the edges are a little distorted, but not too noticeably. I am so looking forward to using it!

That looks like a solid bit of kit there!. I can understand why you’re anxious to stitch on it! Pretty fabric , too!
Hope you have a safe trip over to Holland.

Lovely framing on those pieces. It's great when you find suitable frames in the charity shops, isn't it

Re: Mabel's designs
Still loving the Millennium frame to bits - I've been working on Orpheus on and off for weeks now, slacking off the tension at the end of a session (when I remember... ) and re-tightening it at the beginning of the next, and it's been absolutely fine, no need to re-attach or anything. I did have to twiddle it a bit last night because I'd finished the top bit and needed to scroll the fabric up to get to the bottom bit, but even then I never took the fabric off the rollers. I it!
Only the bottom borders to go now, they are a bit repetitive but make for rather relaxing stitching. And after all my in-between projects recently I am not allowed to touch any other stitching until this is done! (Hopefully this weekend)

Looks like a beautiful WIP. Can't wait to see the finished version (You must be very close now) and glad you are still in love with your new frame!

That's beautiful! Presumably there is a Eurydice in the works somewhere?

Re: Mabel's designs
Alas, no - Orpheus is one of three Ukrainian-inspired designs (the other two are Lviv and Odessa) and was named after our favourite male vocal ensemble of that name, who are from Ukraine.

Orpheus is finished *yay*
It's up on the website as well, both on its own and as part of the Ukrainian Collection with Odessa and Lviv:
