It's beautiful and you've done a lot in such a short time. And no more ghost cow. :-) I'll be looking forward to seeing more, but until then, the Aurora cabin will be pretty to watch, too.

Just had to give an update on this one, even though it's not much. I took a break this week from Aurora Cabin to do a little work on this one. What I thought was going to be a little work ended up turning into a nightmare. I moved my q-snap and started on the next color called Pewter that outlines the sheep and fills in part of the manger. After about a third of the way through, I realized I miscounted some of the stitching and had to take almost all of it out. Got back into it and got about halfway when I had to grab a whole new strand of floss. I started stitching with it and it looked way lighter than the color I had been using. So I checked my thread organizer to see if it was just not dyed very well, and found out that I had been using the wrong color up until this point. So I had to pull out everything all over again and use the right color, and I finally got to this point last night. Just SOOO happy to be done with this color for now, because the little frog just seems to like it too much! :anotherfrog:

More progress on Holy Night! You can see the sheep! A lot of frustration to get to this point and it's only one more color from the last update! by mfarmer200, on Flickr

And a little off topic, but I've got the anatomy scan today for our upcoming baby, hoping we can find out if it's a boy or girl so I can start making cute things for them! :)

Enjoy!

Definitely time for a :ribbit: :ribbit: Fry around here. It is sooooo annoying when you have to rip it out twice. I have been there and it almost makes you want to stop stitching, but good for you that you persisted, because this is going to be great!! It really is looking good and will be worth it in the end.

How frustrating! But I'm glad you got there in the end. And how exciting to know too. :)

Yep definitely time for a :ribbit: :ribbit: fry up, he has been attacking my owl big time too.

So glad you have sorted out the colours and made good progress back to where you were.

Sure hope the scan goes well and you find out the sex of the new little one to come.

Thanks all for the support, and I'm sorry Mr. :anotherfrog: seems to be making his appearance often at the start of the year for so many of us!

The anatomy scan went well, though baby was awake and very squirmy! The technician had to chase her all over the place! And it looks like we will be adding a GIRL to our clan! Heaven help me, I'm pretty sure I'll be getting my payback for being a colicky baby! But it will be fun to have a girl to make dresses for, I really enjoy sewing up formal dresses! :whoop: Should be hearing soon from the doctor if everything is looking good after they go over video, but the initial impression is baby is happy and healthy! Can't ask for much more than that!

Wishing you all a happy stitching week!

Beautiful work. I love doing Christmas Stockings. I've done 13 or 14, but I 've never done Holy Night.
