Hello from Holland

Post by monic39 »

Hello, My name is Monica and I am new to this board.
Not new to cross stitch though. I came here because I was looking on internet to find an easier way to finishing my stocking (Dimensions). The google results brought me here and I was amazed. I never saw this board!
I registred right a way.
I do cross cross stitch since I was 12 and now I am 41
I never stopped, and stitch every day for an hour or so
I am a secretary and live alone. I was born and live in the Netherlands. English is not my first language, so forgive me if I make a strange error.
Hope to meet you all in this board.

My favorite designs are the ones from Dimensions. The most are christmas/winter scenes. I have 12 unopend kits from the gold collection waiting to start.
For now I am working on a christmas stocking, also from dimensions.
I am a 'hold in hands" stitcher. I don't use a hoop, frame or something else. I keep it in my hands.
That's how I learned it and stay with that.
I wil post some pics of my wip's soon
