It looks great! I also think the back stitch looks wonderful. Only you will know that you improvised. :)

Just caught up on this thread. You've been quite busy in 2014, congrats to getting all these done in the first place. Love all your projects and look forward to seeing more now that I'm caught up.

Thanks, everyone! You really keep me going! I've been really really sick from chemo so I'm not stitching much. I did start a simple project that I love so much that I've decided to make three of them. One for my wife and I and two for gifts. Shouldn't take too long. I needed a break from the dreaded baby feet. Can't wait till that one is finished! The D Day Remembrance project will get worked on in two weeks or so.

I hope you feel better soon from the chemo. Rest and take care of yourself, and stitch when you can. Having "simple" projects is a good idea until you can tackle the bigger ones. (And in my mind, "simple" projects are as beautiful and lovingly stitched as the big guys!)

Two of the Bazinga's are gifts and one is for my wife and myself. I decided to stitch them all at the same time. They were so easy to stitch up and a lot of fun. I really enjoy basic things at times. Thank heavens for Etsy for the chart!

I made this little crab while having my chemo treatments. It took forever but under the circumstance that's understandable.
