I got a stitching buddy!

Post by threelivers »

I'm so excited! I got a very small & simple kit for my daughter to try. She loves it. She is already looking online for free charts that fit her interests.

It's great to have someone to share my rediscovered hobby with. By the way I found the dmc variated colors at a Michael's only 35 miles away. :)

Just last week I showed my friend how to do the quickpoint, that's done on the canvas or latch hook, canvas. She crochets a lot, but wanted to try something different. I think she is enjoying it.

It's great you have your daughter interested to share the craft. Teach her well, she'll cherish the memories. I was surprised when I visited my uncle and he finished a Marylin Monroe and made the frame in his wood shop. He shared his experience in the hobby. I learned a lot.
