MLI has passed

Post by Stitchinkitty »

Just read on two other bbs the report that Marilyn Leavitt Imblum-Lavender and lace,TIAG and Butternut road had passed away after a long illnes. She was a designer who inspired many people to stitch and will be missed. Her daughter Nora Corbet-Mirabilia is another talent that has made many of us stitch what we thought was beyond our capabilities.

That is so sad and she will be greatly missed that is for sure. Condolences to her f
family and friends. She will be much missed.

My next start is one of hers - Angel of the Morning. This news encourages me to get busy and grid the linen and get it into the frame and make a start.

My condolences to her family. Though I haven't stitched any of her designs, I love watching others do them as they are really lovely. This is a loss to the stitching community.

In memory of Marilyn Leavitt-Imblum, I will be stitching "Spiritdancer" as part of my stitching rotation. I have the fabric and flosses all ready to start my first stitch. It is a huge design so I am not sure how long it will take for me to finish this. As all of u who know me, I have "startism" disease and have piles of WIPs scattered around the house. LOL
