My son and DIL are expecting their first baby early December, so tthe very best Christmas present ever. I have already started to knit a shawl and I have started a Dimensions Christmas stocking. Of course I will be stitching a baby sampler but havn't quite decided which one, yet, it will either be Dimensions 'Teddy with Kittens' or an old chart I have for Country Companions 'Me First'. My thoughts at the moment are if they decide to know the sex of the baby I will do the Me First for a boy and the teddies for a girl only because I think the Me First is a bit impish like the boys. If they decide not to know the sex I am not sure as I like them both I will try to take some pics soon.
what a good Nanna you will be. and, if I may say so, such an ambassabor for the forum. "I'm going to be a grandmother .... now which sampler shall I do first?" !
Congratulations to you all. So exciting being a Nanna for the first time, nothing to do with the grandchild themselves so not that you will think that they are any different from the other granchildren that come along in the future. It is exciting because you are to become a different person in your existing world and having a new title.
