This is lovely and I'm looking forward to seeing your progress - my mum loves orchids and has quite a few. I have a couple.

That's very pretty! Just the sort of thing to take a break with. And not a fractional stitch in sight :-)

I had terrible toothache last week and just couldn't find the patience to stitch much at all. But I have at least finished the little card. The stitching is shown below and I'll add the finished card to my gallery when it's up and running again.

Now, back to the orchids ...

It's small, bright and beautiful Susan... well done. Quite a change from the delicate shades on the orchid piece - all the best with you progress on this one now that you're resfreshed and hopefully feeling a little brighter.
Can't wait to see the next update.

Happy Stitching... :D

That little card is lovely - really like the bright blues - makes me want to do something similar.

And as for your orchid, it's looking great so far - persevere and it will pay off. I recently completed a Flying Scotsman kit that had a lot of fractional stitches in (picture will be on gallery soon) that drove me mad but it was definitely worth it in the end.

Looking forward to the next update
