Sew and so website

Post by minij »

Like many of you I regularly use Sew and So to order stash and I emailed them to ask if they had thought of having a search where you can put in a price range as sometimes I am searching for a little gift but want it to be up to a certain amount. I had a lovely email back from Yvette and thought those of you who use this site may be interested to know and those who havn't used them yet I can really recommend them (not got shares in the company honest  )

Thank you for your email, and your kind comments about our service.

I'm pleased to be able to tell you that within the next month we will be launching a new website (still called sewandso). This website will have much improved functionality, including a search facility which will allow you to narrow down the price range, and search by price range. It will also have a wish list facility, and a login - so that you won't have to fill your address in each time. It will also have 'live' stocks, so you'll know if something is in stock before you order, and my colleague Lisa and I will be 'online' for live help if you can't find anything, or need any help. We've very excited about this, so do keep an eye open for this.

oh no!! I spend way too much time on there as it is!! A wish list is a great idea - though I hope that they do gift certificates as well.

I love them there, wonderful service and such a good range of stuff.

Fantastic news! I love their service but find the site annoying to navigate at times. This is something to look forward to.

 Happy yet dangerous news  . Even though I'm in the US, I have ended up finding some stuff there cheaper even with the conversion rates than some of the US sites that are available. And shipping  they were mega-fast, it had to come from overseas and was here faster than some stuff that is only a couple of states away from me!

Pssst... everythingcrossstitch.com is pretty close to sew and so for those in the US. I've shopped both and love them both.

They already do gift certificates, you just have to email and ask them.

I was also told quite a while ago that they will be selling gift certificates on their new website.

I e-mailed them about gift certificates - they told me its currently a complicated system where the giver has to give their credit card info and then the other person orders - I'd prefer to have a system like Amazon where you get a code from an already paid amount, so I hope that is what they are going to do - sounds like it if there is a wish list as well.
