Hi from Belfast

Post by china_doll1878 »

 hello hello hello

i'm shell from belfast, and started stitching about 10yrs ago, though lost interest in it for a while and have just recently started it up again, and that is mainly down to my beau who bought me cross stitching software where i can devise my own from pictures that i want to do.

i'm currently working on a picture of my mum's wee yorkshire terrier (suzi) and wanted to get it finished for mothers day but that is looking less and less likely unfortunately.

it is nice to know that there are other stitchers out there

Welcome Shell, so glad to see that your interset has picked back up. It is a wonderful craft with many rewards. If it is encouragement or advice we are here to help. If it is fun we are here for that too.

Hi Shell, and welcome.
I would recommend starting a WIP/SAL thread as well. I recently did one and was encouraged by everyone to finally complete a full picture, something I have never managed before (only the small things previously), and am now on my second!

Hope you enjoy the forum.

A big welcome from the West of Scotland. We're almost neighbours!

Don't forget to put yourself on the map (don't think I've reminded any of our oldie newbies of that... )
