Well done they look great! I was interested to read that it was popular to make the yoyo's into bedspreads in the 30's and 40's!

I have seen whole quilts done in yo-yo's they are really wonderful to see. My mom knows how to do them but I have never tried. Yours look wonderful.

I got completely the wrong end of the stick here -- I thought yo-yos were those circular things on the end of a string that you get to go up and down, and swatch reminded me of those chunky ornate watches you got in the 80s (gosh, that dates me). :-)

I love the swatch portraits, so decorative and they look quite simple to make (though the ides of anything involving a combination of me and glue strikes terror into the hearts of those that know me). Thanks for showing us this CF!

I made a valentine's day yo yo pin..
i just sew a pin pack onto the back..

i hope to perfect these..i bought a yo yo tool..lol..
so i'll be making more too! hopefully will be able to get them nice enough to list in my shop..
