Yay! So happy to be back!!!

The one day that I'm not checking anything on the computer, we come back!!!!!!!!! I know what I'm doing tomorrow!! Gonna go post the news on Facebook even though I know its already there. Doesn't hurt to shout it out.

I missed you all so much. Let anyone you know who is a member that we are back and will be better than ever I'm sure. I know I am going to appreciate each and every one of you more than I did before, and I appreciated y'all a lot!!!!!!!

I missed the place!
Found out by accident that the forum was back as I couldn't post anything in the facebook groups and therefore I hadn't gotten any notifications at all.
I'm so glad now!

So glad you are back! I was sitting at home thinking about checking out the forum and wondered what had happened as the site was down. Yay - good to see the forum back up and running!!

I had not realised how much i would miss my fellow stitchers till you were no longer here for me to catch up with, i admit i don't post as much as i ought but my stitchy bug has done a runner however i feel this group is a link to sanity i missed you all and had almost given up hope. Thank you so much to whomever did all the hard work to get the forum up and running again it is very much appreciated xxx

Honestly... I'm not even on here often, but I noticed the forum was down and I was really, really sad that the ONE place for cross stitchers (read: for me relaxed, nice place with lots of cool people) didn't work anymore. I'm glad it's bakc again. But what happened???

I am pasting the post from Alex that explains why the forum was down for so long----------



It has been a long time, but finally, we are back!

The forum was hacked, so we had to do a lot of repair work and upgrades to
the security of the site. It is now more secure than before, so (hopefully)
will not be so vulnerable in the future.

Thanks to everyone for being patient.

You will notice that the site looks different at the moment. We will change
the appearance as soon as possible.

The gallery was a weak spot, which could let hackers in, so this is
disabled for now. We will try to update it to a more secure version in the
future.

I stopped frantically checking a while ago! Couldn’t subscribe to the FB updates either as I’m not a member of the group! Very glad we’re back!

always glad to see members returning, but now especially because we were down for so long and I worried that people who hadn’t been given the information or were able to access FB for updates. Or hadn’t had a chance to get on Serinde’s update email list, would give up. I,should have known better. We cross stitchers are persistent and I’m so glad. If you realize that someone is missing who you normally see participating, please send them a pm or send one of us mods a pm as we will be glad to contact anyonemto let them know We are Most Definitely Back!!

There is a Facebook page? I missed that! But it doesn't look active (2013?).

Cindy, there’s also a group (Cross Stitch Forum Facebook group) where updates were being posted. It seems the group moderator is no longer active so new members can’t be added but you can read the updates without being a member.
