Hello from Jacksonville, FL.
I use to be really active on this forum but adding to life and such I haven't been on for years.
For those that remember me; my mother had health issues galore and I had fostered a teenager.
My mother passed in the beginning of 2018. She's at peace now but it did bring a lot of changes in my life. One was that I moved from Kingsland, GA to Jacksonville, FL.
My foster son is now an adult, in the navy, married w/two kids.
I'm in a relationship. We were practically living together before my mom died but didn't actually move in together until after.
I'm a lot more active on Facebook but I really enjoyed being on here and finally figured out what my password was!
A little general info about me:
I manage a boutique that takes up a crazy amount of my time. When not working I still love to cross stitch. I recently tried diamond painting but it was one of those free ones off Facebook and didn't turn out well. Now that the weather is warming up (and when it isn't raining) you can find me working out in the yard.

Welcome back! I’m so glad you remembered your password. Please accept my condolences on your mother’s passing.
You will immediately notice various changes here — both the Stash & Grab and St Cross Stitchers have expended to fill the imagination available. Don’t be alarmed by the menagerie we seem to have in the grounds; the lions have very good manners. The winter gardens are at their best at the moment, too.

In case you are t aware of it, Photobucket is no longer a free service. Many of us switched to postimage. It’s free and pretty simple. No editing that I can see but easy to work with.

Welcome back! Sorry for your loss. The loss of my dad, among other things, had me gone for a bit as well.
I also tried diamond painting..was a gift..and I know what you mean about it not turning out well..it was so pixelated and just the colors were so off..I plan on picking up an actual good one because I did enjoy it..when I needed a break from stitching..no counting just with diamond painting lol
