Chart Swap 2

I am putting this up as an annoucement only until the Swap has run it course. Wendy and I have talked about it and she is willing to start the Swap. We would like to have you all sign in and put your Name and your country on the list. Once all of you have signed up then we would like to organize the swap to make it run a bit more smoothly. So we are going to try to group countries together so the Transatlantic time is reduced.

Here is the list as far as I know so far.

Any More names for the list? We shall be sorting out into countries soon and then we shall start this off around the 5th.

OK girls the list is in and I shall be posting at the weekend.

These are the UK names. We are starting there first and Rose will sort out the US name list.
All you need to do is P/M the person above you on the list with your Snail Mail address.

Remember All charts must be the original, no photocopies. And no hanging onto photocopies either!!!

Boy this strike thing has been going on and on and on. What is there problem it was a factor once in the last swap. Why are they striking???

Over pay and conditions. They have been offered an increase which is considered to be less than inflation (and so, in effect, a pay cut) and might lead to as many as 40,000 (!) lay-offs. I'm sure it's more complicated than that, but that's the essence as I understand it.

I do sympathise, though. My daughter was a 'Postie' and I know how hard they work and their conditions too.
