I am so thrilled that I had to tell you about it Last year I answered an add in Cross Stitcher for stitcher's to make up their samples. Well to cut a long story short, I did not get that job but they kept my name on file and some time later passed it on to someone else looking for stitcher's. I got a letter offering me the job of stitching samples for EQS, a firm just starting to produce their own kits. They have just emailed me to say my first kit is on it's way. What could be better than being able to enjoy my hobby and get paid for it too

Angel might be interested in how that works, as she is thinking of doing commissions, but not sure what to charge, etc. She posted a thread earlier about it.

Thanks everyone, I am thrilled as you can imagine. My first project is apparently a floral patchwork design about 7.3" x 7.3". Not sure about whether or not I can post them on the SAL, I will check on that with the owner as it would be lovely to share with you all.
Congratulations!!! I do hope they send you designs you find enjoyable, otherwise it will be tough trying to make yourself work on the project. Some of the ones my mom had to do were nothing she would have normally stitched. But she enjoyed the work all the same, I hope you do too.
