Oh my dear Kerri, I have somehow missed this thread and only just caught up with it. i am so sorry to hear about Chad and the house. It does sound as if there is some improvement and hopefully Chad is on his way back to you
You are in my thoughts and prayers and I send you love and hugs
It sounds like he has made a lot of progress since you last updated us, and although he's inconsistent with responses, it's probably a good sign, a gradual, slow recovery as he takes time to heal
Thank you for the update Kerri -- it is good to hear there is some progress, even though it is of course so much less than you would like to see. I wish you both the very best outcome!
Thank you for letting us know what is going on. It sounds like he's progressing, and will hopefully wake fully soon..How are you holding up? Other than stitching. It's understandable how stitching would be put to the side for a bit...

I have been thinking of you every day. Keep up your strength, and please, take care of yourself. Chad will need you! I am sure he will get better soon.

Chad is still in the hospital but he will be moved to a nursing home soon. He still needs 24 hour care and unfortunately no one other than a nursing home can provide that right now. It takes up to two years before we will know how well he will progress but the doctors do not think he will be like he was before. It's hard and I try to deal as best I can. Thank you to all who have helped. It means so much to me!
