 What an awesome piece!! You are doing a wonderful job on it so far.

When there is a lot of back stitch I tend to do it as I go so that I don't get sick of it as quickly.

Great finish - the light on the sea in the bottom left picture is really realistic, and the whole is very touching.

Wow! What a fantastic finish. I love the piece. I'm grateful for people as great as you who have the patience to plow such a detailed piece and share pictures for the rest of us to look at and admire.

Really is superb. Just brilliant.
The frame complements the picture so well too.

This is beautiful! I too love all things Titanic (no relatives on board though....that's so fascinating). I have a Titanic piece similar to this I'd like to one day start.

Anyway, looks great and I love how you matted and framed it. Awesome finish. :applesauce:

Paul, regarding your power tool dilemma, I'll post links below to three ways to hang things without power tools. I don't know if they're available in the UK, but it's worth a try. I've used all three and they're easy peasy. The easiest are the Monkey Hooks. All can be found at hardware stores or online.

Monkey Hooks--no tools required.

http://www.amazon.com/Hillman-Group-591 ... nkey+hooks

Picture hangers--requires something to whack small tack into wall. Doesn't have to be a hammer. Anything hard will do as the nails/tacks are small and sharp.

http://www.amazon.com/OOK-50918-Profess ... re+hangers

Self-driving anchors--requires a screwdriver.
