One of the ongoing battles with bugs we have to put up with), are due to the disagreement we were having as to what should be the focus of my attention in taking the photo. We used to use something called 'Frontline' but the fleas are now immune to it, and have to use a spirit based stuff called 'Advocate' by Bayer. It's a bit painful on the wallet every month and the cats hate it, as any skin breaks (like claw puncture wounds etc) sting like anything due to the spirit base. Also if they manage to lick it, the poor fleabag dribbles uncontrollably for a couple of hours. All our cats go out for most of the day to terrorise the wildlife in our garden. Yesterday Ozzie came back proudly with 2 medium size rats and tried to present them to us in the living room! The problem with a 'wildlife' garden is that all wildlife thrives, even the stuff you don't want quite so much.
Now how did I miss this update late last week - definitely a slip up for sure.
WOW you sure are making great progress on this lovely one Carole and how great to see Miss Laverne again. Of course she had to keep your stitching nice and flat and well looked after - bless her and you too.

Great update on your work & your cute assistant. When we had pets like Richard said fleas got immune to whatever we bought so ended up buying the from the vet. Costly at the time we had 2 cats & 2 dogs> Luckily the rabbits & guinea pigs didn't need flea treatment or DH would have had to get a paper round to pay for it all!!

I was going to wait until Page 12 is completed, so there will be another pic in a day or two since page 12 is really almost done since it is only one column. I'll also post a pic of the whole piece then too. But I am eager to see how Postimage works so here goes:
Way too easy. Probably going to finish this up tomorrow. In the meantime. You can see how little is left of this row. I might keep at it for another page or maybe go back to O Kitten Tree. Decisions, decisions, decisions.
