Time for an update......and a new start :dance:

I thought it was time for a new HAED and I've always wanted to stitch one on a hand dyed fabric (this one is dolphins delight by Polstitches)....so I have started QS Bubbles and I'm going to be removing the background myself.

Here is my start after a week of stitching

What a fantastic start on such a cute chart. Your fabric matches the pattern background exactly. :applesauce:
When you say that you remove the background yourself, does that mean you just ignore those stitches and just stitch the main details or is there something trickier than that in this step?
It's a great idea so that it isn't such a huge undertaking with a HAED. Looking forward to seeing this come together.

Ohh, I swore I would not get another HAED...I have not even begun to start the ones I have, but this one is definitely on my wishlist now! I love it!
You've made a great start on it, and I can see why you would not stitch the background with that fantastic piece of fabric! It's perfect! :applesauce: :applesauce:

:applesauce: :applesauce: I love this one and can't imagine a more perfect fabric than the one you have chosen! Are you finding it difficult to "ignore" the background? I was thinking that you could color all the "background" colors one color. There are some charts that I would love to do but the backgrounds can really make them tedious.
