Looks great. Its amazing how fast crocheting can be when doing granny squares. Xan is going to really be looking forward to cold weather.

(My Mom once told me that the Amish women always put in 1 error onto their quilts, so as not to make something "perfect"....don't know if I believe it, but it's a neat enough story!)

That is so precious. I love the flower. And I heard the same story that Diana heard but I was told it was Pennsylvania Dutch. Have no idea if its true. I always have at least one mistake in mine, so I never have to worry.

Such an adorable blanket Kell ! I am always super impressed with anyone that can knit and crochet - it is so nice to be able to give a gift that is handmade like that!

Me too - but you know what? Basic crochet is dead easy. Find a tutorial on Youtube and give it a try. It works up so quickly - I barely have to look at it so it's great to do while I'm watching TV. This is my first ever proper project - I only ever did a few little squares and a headband to practice a few different stitches till now. I basically worked this up in about a week all told, and Im' quite proud of how good it looks too.
I'm looking forward to seeing Xan's finished (it's nearly half done), and then working on one for myself - I'm thinking black, white and grey for mine.
It is looking great. Isn't it wonderful how fast crocheting goes? I'm almost (but not quite) tempted to start it again.
