Well, I was going to start the Joan Elliott Medieval Lady at the beginning of the year, however I had this for Christmas
Well I had 4 William Morris kits actually (I know I am so lucky) and this one was calling to me, so here is where I am after three days stitching, I hadn't meant for it to be a triangle, that's just where I followed the symbols to
so, between the four William Morris and the four Joan Elliott Medieval Ladies I think I am about set for the next two years, I plan on stitching a William Morris then a Joan Elliott, then back to William Morris and so on - unless Wrendale bring out more cuties

That corner is lovely in itself! And I'm a great believer in stitching whatever calls to you (Not that I want to encourage bad behaviour and pushing & shoving in my projects, of course - they have to let me know they want to be stitched in a polite and mannerly fashion)
Lovely start!! And I agree with Mabel, sticking with the project nagging the most (my projects nag) usually makes my stitching life much easier.

Well that is rather lovely, its easy to see why William Morris designs have stood the test of time, and you are doing a excellent job your stitches are perfect
Of all his designs I have seen, I like this most of all- for its being so elegant, delicate and pleasant. One of those rare designs at which one can look forever. A great start, Maureen. Happy stitching!
I've made a little more progress and I'm loving stitching this
It will have to go on hold for a bit while I stitch a present for a mum-to-be ( I'll only share it after the happy event ) and I can't wait to get back to Bellflower.
Beautiful progress! Can't wait for you to get back to it!

This is truly beautiful, Maureen. I can imagine how lovely it must be to stitch.
It is kind of you to leave it aside to stitch for your friend.
