My oh my, what a beautiful piece of work Serinde :applesauce: :applesauce: It is absolutely beautiful, reminds me of stained glass; is it supposed to be a stained glass window x-stitch? It is amazing what you have created. :whoop: I read first posts about one solid thread & another variegated. Interesting to read that, something else I have learned from this forum. It is truly a great work of art. Should go in an art exhibition :D

lavenderbee, this is a design by Mary Hickmott. She's done several "stained glass" designs, covering different styles. But the blended thread made up of a solid and a variegated was a first for me.

Man oh man, this is amazing!! It really appears as if light is coming through the "windows". Beautiful work Serinde!

Mark Hickmott does wonderful designs, thanks for telling me. Will look out some of her designs for future things to add to my 'to do list'. :D
