Nachstenliebe's Joan Elliott Spring Fairy~ Update May 25th

Post by Nachstenliebe »

I started this project a few days before UFO week, but I eventually took everything out because I didn't like the 2x1 on this 32 ct fabric. So I took everything out and started again 1x1. The fabric I  . It's Spring Garden Opalescent from Silkweavers. I keep making mistakes, but I think that's because I still need to get used to 32 ct fabric.. it's not easy! I've really been enjoying this design. It's perfect for the weather we've been having :D
Anyways:

The fabric will add even more magic to this charming picture: this is my favourite fairy among Joan Eliott's. And those pinks just make me melt!
I'll keep watching this thread!

I did! The design calls for 2x1 on 28 ct fabric.. so I figued 32 count could handle if 28 could...and it can! It just doesn't give a nice look..way too bulky..1x1 is just right  It was worth taking all those stitching out
