My Stashmas present arrived today all the way from Australia -- it had a selection of Anchor threads in it plus a hoop. As I'm usually a DMC girl these will be new things to try, there was pearl cotton, soft cotton, stranded cotton, Marlitt rayon and a lovely blue silk -- I didn't know Anchor did silk! The hoop looks unlike the ones I've seen, it has a sort of lip around the top which I think will hold the fabric nice and taut. And there was a postcard with a picture of Melbourne, so I think my Stashmas sender was Grub!

Lovely gifts everyone. All good things come to those who wait.

Mabel, we have the same exact hoop, even the colour. You are my hoop twin.

I didn't know we could get anchor threads in Australia, although I am on the isolated side so maybe thats why I have never seen them. I always have to convert to DMC. Still, it saves money I suppose.

Stashmas is a swap we do near Xmas but instead of saying Christmas (because not everyone celebrates) we call it Stashmas as we're sending stash to each other. :)

Well the postie has been and gone today and my Stashmas present didn't show, this happened to me last year too so I can't help feeling a bit fed up. Anyway, looking at the list I think this is everyone who still hasn't received their present. If I've got anything wrong, please update it. Maybe our stashmas senders could let Kute Kitty know when our gifts are likely to arrive?

I don't think Slinky has received hers yet either (although the list says she has) and I know k1nS sent Valb's ages ago but I haven't heard if she received it okay.

Well my recipient is on the above list and I know I definitely sent it. I'm very disappointed and I can only hope the person just hasn't been online to acknowledge it. :( :( :(

Following a little detective work, I have discovered that my recipient hasn't posted since November, so maybe she's been too busy to respond.
