Stashmas 2009: presents are travelling!

yeah for patience! Last night the add on the tele advertised the buy 2 get 1 free offer starts today which means my receipient will get three of something they wanted instead of two. I shall go after work today and get it all organised tonight.

My Stashmas gift was sent today.
Where it went, I cannot say...

If by some awful chance the item requested couldn't be got, then what is the next best thing? I went to get " the item" today and the shop sold out. They only keep a few anyway cause it's not a big seller and the girl at the counter said she doesn't know when they are next getting them in as had no requests and said they sold out a while ago...and I would not know cause it's not something I use.

So, my options are:

something different (not on the recipients wish list)

or

post part out now and then the second bit later.

what shall I do. I dont want to wait much longer cause of the fact that postage from Perth to somewhere else in the world takes a while...and if I bought the item on the net, it will take about a week to get here. PANIC

someone tell me what to do!

Due to a extreme mess up at work that involved me and 5 others not being paid!!! I'm going to have to delay buying till Wedensday next week when my other half gets paid I'll send out the same day via recorded delivery I apologise for the delay

Kerry, I never thought of that. That would be much quicker and cheaper than sending it back and forth anyway and then I could post the other bit tomorrow and hope that gets their first and then the other.

But then, it would have the invoice with it, thats a bit isn't it

It doesn't have to -- I ordered something from the country where my recipient lives, and they very kindly sent it directly to her, with a card in it! but sent the invoice to me -- just ask, often they're very helpful!

Now I have to get to work on the personal item, or it'll never get there on time *panics* !

Just ordered all the bits and pieces for stashmas and a certain 10,000 post present. I absolutely LOVE buying stash, and especially when it's for other people. Wish I'd won the lottery, then it would have been stashmas for the entire forum!!

I did it! I was able to get it sent directly to the recipient so thanks so much for that advice. Now, it will probably get there before the other bit. I have to go to the post office today and send the other bit off. The only problem is I am dead tired from work last night and dont wanna get out of my PJ's but dont think they are a good look in public
