Wow, the posies one looks beautiful all embellished & taselled! :applesauce:

And the Garden Door Kitty looks lovely too. I did have to laugh at your kitty for telling you to buy things, and the lizard incident... my cat is an indoor cat, so the most she gets chance with is spiders/moths :thinks:
I read a lovely quote once that "if cats could talk, they would lie to you"

posies has gone to the framers and i am working extra shift to pay for framing. I have done 1 of the 2 doggies, should finish them tomorrow..on a day off, so shall post a picture then.

But   I had a yearning to start oriental orchids, which countrygal did and posted it in her European Bistro SAL topic, so i started it.

Now I have:

Blue Wrens ( boy is that dragging on)
Wild Westies - the french woman with the two doggies
Garden Door Kitty
Oriental orchids - link below

as my big SALS on the go

plus continuing with the christmas stuff.

Note to self: DO NOT start anything else new!!

Surely you can never have too many WIPs? One mustn't get bored, after all... :-)

Last 2 days work...

The puppies are finished..might I add I also got bit by my cat when I was sewing them.

So, just the outlining and shading to complete, there is alot of these but I dont mind it.

and the start of oriental orchids..it is on beige aida with a print in it basically where the stitching sits...you can see it. So far it is fairly easy..time will tell, but its very pleasant to stitch.

um, yeah, I forgot to do the house vacuuming today again.. but thats cause :ratherbe: plus I had to go to work for 3 hours today to see 2 patients which cut into my stitching time on my days off. :x

I love the doggie one, it's wonderful! Great start on the orchids too, will be good to see how they blend with the fabric.

Sorry your stitching time got cut down, but hope all went well with your patients. :)

I have been working on the lady and her doggies last couple of days. I have completed the shading and all the cross stitch bits but am now working ( oh boy, is it work!!) on all the outlining, although as you can see it is more for highlighting than outlining as such and is damn hard! i can only do about an hour before I have to put it down. There are a good few miles left to go.

and it's my brothers birthday so made this little guitar. He plays guitar, better than me and I taughthim initally! I am thinking of putting some musical notes and his name on it and making it into a coaster.

I also started the next koala christmas card and will probably work on that now, just need a cup of :tea: . Only done a couple of rows so no point in posting a picture yet.
